Since Scala's Preferred® Italian beef is already fully cooked, just heat and serve:
- Heat the Italian beef GRAVY, including the spice block, to 165°. (just simmer, do not boil)
- Open the package of Scala's Preferred® Italian beef and gently massage beef apart (do not pull apart, as beef will shred)
- Immerse beef into warm gravy for 30 seconds, remove beef and serve on French bread.
Tip: For a "wet" beef, dip sandwich into gravy.
For a "cheesy" beef, add Scala's Preferred® mozzarella or provarella cheese on the sandwich.
For more flavor, add Scala's Preferred® mild or hot mix giardinera to make a Chicago Style beef.

A "combo" is simply a combination sandwich of Scala's Preferred® Italian sausage and Italian beef. Place the Italian sausage on the French bread first and then top it off with the Italian beef.
